I was plein aire painting one day in a friend's field. As I was painting the distant barn, some cows wandered up to see what I was about. When I finished painting, I turned and the sun was starting to set on the far hill. The light coming through the fall tress was amazing! I took several photographs and painted this painting in the studio using the photos as a reference. This was the beautiful view that the cows saw every day. This painting is mounted on stretcher bars in the Gallery Wrap style. There is no frame needed.
